WOODEN COOKING UTENSIL WORKSHOP

CLASS DATES SCHEDULE:

May 31st & June 1st

In this one day workshop, you will make your very own set of wooden cooking utensils. Choose between walnut and cherry wood to create and finish two cooking spoons, forks, spreaders, muddlers or chopsticks of your design. 

This class will cover the basics of how to use saws, carving and shaping tools, as well as an introduction to the CNC router. Students will also learn how to make a food-safe all natural wood finish for use on their personalized set of utensils. 

Great as a gift for your favorite chef!!!

Class costs $165 and runs from 10:00am - 5:00pm with a break for lunch
All materials and knowhow are provided

GARDEN BENCH WORKSHOP

CLASS DATE SCHEDULE

June 28th

This is a great class for beginners and experienced woodworkers alike. Come build your own Knowhow Shop Bench as seen at The Hermasillo, Indiana Colony, and gardens all over LA!

Class costs $150 and runs from 10:00am - 4:00pm with a break for lunch

SHAKER BOX WORKSHOP

CLASS DATES SCHEDULE:

December 7th 

In this one day workshop you will build traditional shaker boxes using modern techniques, we will be laser cutting the parts from solid cherry and steam bending them around CNC cut forms, then finishing them with copper tacks and a durable poly oil.

There will also be and opportunity to personalize the box by laser etching a name or initials in the top or bottom while we cut out the parts.

This will be the first time we will have run this class don’t miss out!

Class costs $150 and runs from 10:00am - 4:00pm with a break for lunch

THE OTHER HALF

We built this “client table” for our friends at The Whitehouse in addition to the Wooden Upholstery posted below. This table is a combination of two mid-century designs we admired. In ours the unusual leg detail becomes a section cut dividing the table and creating a perfectly matched bench.
Feast your eyes on the sword-tip miters, the delicately shaped aprons, book-matched teak, and walnut cut from a single massive plank!

Thankfully it has a good home!
